Please don't write ”kph”. It's ”km/h” and it doesn't take much longer to write. The most important thing is left out in ”kph”, that is the ”m”. The ”kph” abbreviation could mean just about anything. Kilo-whatever per hour, or just ”thousands per hour”, or even kilo-grams per hour”… The ”m” (for meters, not miles…) just HAS to be there! Also, ”km/h” is how we, who actually use the unit in a daily basis, write it. I like the video anyway, though. :)

This is so cool because the SSC just reached 331, but you could easily tell it was still pulling strong. I bet it could hit around 350 considering how much more power it has than Koenigsegg while having the same drag coefficient.

Great video but I can't find an actual videos of a top speed run where they get that fast and the SSC Tuatara has tied their theoretical top speed of 331MPH but has actually done it real world. So the throne has been taken, rip. Always interesting to see these three companies (Koenigsegg, Bugatti, and SSC) trading the torch back and forth.

It will cover an American football field in 0.618 seconds! 331 mph x 5,280 ft/mi = 1,747,680 ft/hr. 1,747,680 ft/hr ÷ 60 min/hr = 29,128 ft/min. 29,128 ft/min ÷ 60 secs/min = 485.467 ft/sec. American foorball field is 100 yards or 300 feet long. 300 feet ÷ 485.467 ft/sec = 0.618 seconds to travel 300 feet. Almost like a jet at zero altitude!

The SSC Tuatara just did a max of 331.15, so it beats the "Yesko" by 0.15 mph. Thats a WIN! (Heh heh!)

I dunno, this thing only needs to go 278 to get the world record for cars that actually went the speed they claimed ☺ The SSC only got the "we slapped a number on a screen" record and the Fiat Punto I crashed in 2007 had a 500mph sticker on its speedo so they're miles behind that still.

The car wasn't really accelerating anymore at lets say 328 mph, it needed fairly long to get those 3 mph.... But I am not trying to take away something. Although the driver was straight away lying about the acceleration of the Tuatara.... He said: "before hitting 331, the car accelerated 32 km/h (20 mph) in the last 5 seconds". I checked that. And you can see that in the last 5 seconds before hitting 331, it accelerated roughly 14 km/h which is not even half of what the driver said

SSC can do 316 only. 331 mph was achieved because of some factors like wind or incline helping the car. IF what koenigsegg says is true, then jesko can do 331 without any assistance

316 was its top speed because they have to calculate the speed down the road and back.... it may have hit 331 on its first run but on its run back it only hit 303 so it’s top speed is only 316..... the difference with the Jesko is that these numbers are based upon the top speed on a flat surface... down hill this car could easily hit 345

Yeah so I was subscribed to the channel and now Im out. So like I should say your name correctly, you should do the same. What do I care about America and misspelling european names? Find a video, hear the pronunciation and stick to it. Also stick to the mechanical part and drop the math. Like people said - Show beats tell so when I see it I'll believe it. Also what car manifacturer drops the fastest car race all of a sudden. I always thought Koenigsegg is just putting some turbo on the previous versions and new fastest record. But turbo runs out at some point and I guess the moment is now. I always admire Bugatti more because they create new car that can reach suck speeds which I can state now that even if Jesko beats 490 mark, Bugatti will eventually go higher.

If I could buy any it would be Jesko-absolut based on looks only.

I don’t know much abt downforce, but if a car is exceeding 500 kph wouldn’t a downforce of 40 kilos be too little. Like wouldn’t the car just go flying.

No it wouldnt fly but probably it wont feel as nice to drive. Less downforce means less drag but also less capacity to transfer the power to the ground. Cheers

I could be wrong...but, isn't the Bugatti a production street car and not a "track" version of it's model? If so, that is a very impressive accomplishment...imagine if they did the heavy modifications to it that they have the absolut.
